Healing Outreach Church was founded December 2019 by Michael and Leilani Liddell. Pastor Michael is a business man with over 20 years as an entrepreneur, teacher and educator. As an entrepreneur, Pastor Michael has collaborated with organizations such as St. Louis Public Schools, Southwestern Illinois College, St. Louis University, and Urban Strategies. He is a graduate of the 2010 class of Focus Leadership St. Louis. Pastor Michael is also a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia with degrees in Mathematics and Music.  Pastor Leilani's background is in Human Services and Community Outreach. She is a graduate of Liberty University with a Masters in Human Services. She currently working at a drug treatment center as a drug and alcohol counselor. Pastor Leilani is also the founder and CEO of Your Recovery Coach, a not for profit that provides addiction recovery support. Both have served in ministry for over 20 years in various roles to include Minister, Executive Director, Worship Leader, Christian Education Teacher, Ministry Support, and served on the Mission Field in Italy, Canada, Mexico and the inner cities of the United States. 

Originally, Healing Outreach Church, was known as Healing Outreach Christian Ministries (HOCM) when it was established in 2017. The ministry was created as an avenue to assist people who were going through acute traumatic injury or traumatic life experiences by providing spiritual counseling and bringing worship services to where they were including nursing homes, hospitals, hospice, or their homes. After prayerfully consideration, Pastors Michael and Leilani were led to transition HOCM to Healing Outreach Church where all can come and worship. Outreach and missions remain a pillar with Healing Outreach Church in addition to discipleship.
